Sisterhood, the Blog (STB) is celebrating digital diva sheroes during National Women’s History Month. Digital diva sheroes are women who use the Internet to do great work online and offline. They are also women who will be featured in Ananda Leeke’s next book Sisterhood, the Blog: Soundbytes from the 21st Century Women’s Online Revolution.
Today, we are celebrating Kety Esquivel, the Executive Director and CEO of Latinos in Social Media. Kety is also a published author, consultant, TV commentator, world traveler, and execcoach. She recently served as the New Media Director for the National Council of La Raza. In December, Kety and a dynamic group a/k/a the “Six Latinas” organized the first Latinos in Social Media DC conference. They are also women who will be featured in Ananda Leeke’s next book Sisterhood, the Blog: Soundbytes from the 21st Century Women’s Online Revolution.
Today, we are celebrating Bianca Alexander, Esq., a healthy living advocate who serves as co-CEO and host of Conscious Living TV, a green living news magazine show. Bianca also hosts The Soul of Green, a TV program that features untold stories about people of color in the green and environmental justice movements. In addition, she is a broadcast journalism fellow of University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communications and an ethnic media fellow of the Association of Health Journalists.
